INSOMNIA.... Misunderstood.
This goes out to my 'friends' and acquaintances who, notwithstanding their ignorance, like using fancy words to let people 'think' they’re cool or know what they're on about. Well some of us KNOW you're frauds.... and we think you watch a lotta movies.
My guess is at this point, ya'll might be thinking "what is he yapping about?" I say, "keep your hat on, don’t let the breeze blow you off" I'm trying to enlighten some numbskulls, no rush :)
I started writing this up with one word on my mind, INSOMNIA. A lot of people use this word not knowing what it actually means *pisses me off* they just know it has to do with lack of sleep.... or something like that they think
Just because you heard the word in a movie or read it in a novel doesn't mean you actually know what it means *ugh* I give you instances:
1. Boy tried going to sleep and couldn't. 30 minutes later (for crying out loud) he uses his mobile phone (a blackberry most probably) to update his status on a social networking site -facebook being the more likely- to something like "aarrggghhh insomnia, can't sleep" and I go like "WTF?! Drown in your piss fool"
2. A girl had new shoes on her mind all day and couldn't go to sleep thinking of them, she wrote “damn it insomnia, not today please :(“ thought that ran through my mind >> "Insomnia isn’t like a headache girl. And you got the period wrong too”
This just brings out your bountiful ignorance coated with wanna-be attitude for the whole world to see (well, just your friends on your list).
Aaaaanyways :) I just want to give a word of advice..... DICTIONARY. Next time you hear a really cool word like say, epiphany, look it up first before you go shouting off your head when you remember something and call it an epiphany. If I correct you, am not trying to mock you or make jest of your ignorance, I’m just saving you the inevitable future mortification, I’d expect the same of you ;)
